There is so much more to the Wynn than his and her sinks, a 42" flat screen TV, and a kid's free pool. I believe the concept of the hotel is a French whimsical dream; where Steve Wynn used Art Nouveau-style inspirations in the carpet, mosaic floors, silk walls, and even on the ceiling! This hotel is about believing in dreams. When a hotel is well designed you just feel better. Another concept was bringing the outdoors in. That might explain the enlarged purple, red, and yellow flower balls suspended from the trees in the lobby. I love details. I noticed the tiny decals of branches on the ceiling!! If you look up above the trees where the ceiling meets the glass of the atrium, edges are curved and smooth. The pull backs that hold the drapery together are small flower motifs!!

This hotel features 270,000 guest rooms! I was lucky enough to stay in a double guest suite. As you entered the suite, classical music filled the room on a 42" flat screen TV with a transitional tulip screen saver. It was so beautiful I took video. Haha. Walls were covered in a peach passion wall covering. The beds were plush and comfy; bed skirts consisted of orange, blue, and yellow stripes. Colorful artwork resembled Andy Warhol's flower painting. The goodies above the mini bar had sensors on them. They charged you for every second you picked up the food. The rules were you can look but you can't touch!

The bathroom consisted of his and her sinks with a separate toilet room that had its own wall sconce and phone. Our bathroom had a wall mounted TV so we could watch the news while we were getting ready! I did not like the glass shower. While I was getting ready I could see my friend showering. There's a thing called privacy, apparently this concept didn't exist in Wynn's "dreams".

Our view was spectacular. We got to see pretty green hills of the Wynn's golf course. So glad we didn't get the construction view. Haha.

Had dinner at a dimmed, 12 year old sports bar, it didn't quite feel grown up yet. Anyways, ordered a 6" turkey sandwich for $12 which was the cheapest thing on the menu, yikes!

The service was great, the bellmen brought our bags to our room but the handsome fellow said it was required to tip. The elevator men were nice but too pushy they wanted to make sure I had my red card [room key] with me at all times, well sometimes it's a thing called forgetfulness and I didn't always have on me, whoops. Plus my friends would stay in the room, while I wondered around...

In the scopes of services, the design team needed to design 18 restaurants, 80,000 square feet of retail space, 111,000 square feet of casino space with 137 table games, 1,960 slot machines, and 200,000 square feet of convention and meeting space. It took up to five years to build this $2.7 billion luxury hotel. Steve Wynn used a program called Buzzsaw by Autodesk where he and 250 users created 140,000 sheets of drawings to design the space.
